March 3-29 - Autox Weather Weenies
Those of us who were planning on competeing in the Colorado West autocross in Fruita, were
kept from making the trip by snowy mountain passes. Its just too early in the season to make that trip safely without a trailer, so we all had to relinquish th efirst points of the season to Colorado west. Torca members Roger M.(from Castle Rock) and Barb R. (from Colorado Springs) suggested we all meet for an impromptu lunch (mystery meal) up in Evergreen, CO. We all met by Bandimere Raceway then headed up Old Morrison road. The other TORCA members that convened were Ken and Jackie (Berthoud), Ron B. (Hyland Park), Mike and Becky K. (Louisville), Randy (Colorado Springs), Mike M. (Denver), Kitty (out east somewhere), and Don and Cindy (Keystone - brought their SUV PU to get to us over Eisenhower tunnel). Roger M. surprised us all by showing up in his 2008 Atomic Orange C6 Z06 that he just picked up directly from the factory. Can't wait to watch him learn how to pilot that sweet ride.
