You couldn’t have asked for better weather or better company! About half of TORCA headed for Alamosa early this month to enjoy the fall foliage from the historic steam-powered Cumbres and Toltec railroad.
The aspen were at near-peak color, the temperatures were crisp but pleasant, and the sky was flawlessly blue for the day-long chug through the remote areas of the southern Colorado/New Mexico border.
Special thanks to Chuck and Becky Everitt for arranging this memorable trip for us!
