Activities and Events

Our activities include Car Prep & Detail Clinics, the annual "Show Us Your Vette" dealer appreciation show, the annual "All Hallows Eve Poker Rallye", the annual Christmas Party, monthly "Mystery Meal" Tours, weekend getaways, parades and fund raisers for local non-profit organizations.

About once a month, a group of men, called Torquers, get together to work on someone's Vette and drink a cold one; a good way to learn how to change your own oil or add a sway bar. The Torquettes (TORCA ladies) gather together as well for more refined activities.

We also travel to other venues in the region to participate in NCCC sanctioned car shows, ralleyes, low-speed autocrosses and other sporting events. The other Corvette clubs host events and compete in friendly rivalry for points across the Rocky Mountain Region. We support them and they support us. There is always someone who is willing to head up a caravan to the events if you don't want to fly solo. You and TORCA will both get points for traveling and competing in sanctioned events so we encourage your participation!

There is an active "team" of men and ladies TORCA members that compete at most autocross events and are top ranked finishers. Whether you take competing seriously or just for fun, autocrossing will not damage you or your Vette, and will give you the chance to see why the Corvette is such a great sports car. Helmets are required, but many competitors will loan you theirs for your first event (don't make a habit of it though). Many of the most active members compete for overall regional points, which means you will see them at every sanctioned event, whether it be anautocross, car show or rallye. Join the crowd! Half the fun is driving to the events and having an overnighter.

Whatever your passion, you'll find many excuses and occasions to enjoy driving your Corvette sports car in activities it was designed for, and for just looking good. Come join us!
