TORCA October 2007 Mystery Meal
A wild and windy mountain road
   Mimi's Cafe- Loveland, CO

19 cars filled with TORCA members and guests met at Thunder Mountain Harley-Davidson in Loveland. A two hour circuitous route past many lakes, over the front ranges and back to Loveland proved to provide many excellent views. Unfortunately, we didn't stop anywhere to allow our spouses to take over the wheel and have a turn at driving these windy roads. We had many onlookers that waved at us as we passed by. The members kept the line fairly tight with only a few rare metal car "intruders". John and Shirley N. did a great job as hosts and planned one of the more memorable routes, much of which was new to everybody. Ralph celebrated his birthday and the Mimi's staff was kind enough to serve the cake that Connie brought to everyone.

The pictures below were taken by Mike (seen hanging the camera out of the car - LEFT), Becky and Chuck, but be looking for many more from the other TORCA members. Since Mike is an old rocketeer, Becky and Mike stopped by John and Shirley's place in Loveland on the way home to look at John's high powered rockets. (RIGHT)
