Letter from the TORCA President
I just want to take this timely opportunity to tell the Club, that I thought this years SUYV was a resounding success in many ways. Our special recognition to the Chair people, Bruce Z., Eddie C. for the SUYV Car Show and Cheryl R. shared the Chair with me on the Poker Hand sanctioned fund raiser. I would like to thank many of the members who took on leadership & worker positions in the Parking & Tech, 50/50, registration, charity, membership, set-up & clean-up, and scoring, etc.. And don't forget the Stingray band members!
It took a lot of teamwork and effort of the TORCA membership & our sponsors to pull this off. I heard many comments from the participants and some of our sponsors of how good of a show it was.
PS: We'll meet our expectation and donation to our charity. We'll discuss and vote on it during our next Club meeting. Again, Thank You to each of you who planned, worked, donated and participated in this year SUYV.
