TORQUERS are a group of men from TORCA that try to get together about once a month at a member's garage, in order to 'wrench' on a Corvette. These casual events are generally initiated at the monthly membership meeting, when a need arises by one of the members, or just as an excuse to gather together around corvettes and tools on a weekday evening or Sunday afternoon. Projects are generally limited to something that can be accomplished in about an hour or two, such as changing oil and filter, installing a new air box, replacing sway bars, swapping out disk pads or disks. It all depends on the expertise and motivation of those pitching in to help. Motivation is generally a cold beer and a pizza. New Corvette owners will really appreciate the advice and guidance of many of the 'old sages' in TORCA. Come Join Us.

Note: The ladies (TORQUETTES) get together as well, but we don't know what they do, and we don't ask.)

Pete and Barry pulled the mainofold off of Irene's C5 to replace the oil sensor. They then helped mike put in Hi-temperature Motul racing brake fluid (boiling points are 312°C/593°F dry and 216°C/420°F wet) and bled the system. Pete's partner, Mike, went to Brother's Barbeque and brought back lunch.
